2nd Kids Like2Bike event - 15th July Waterfall Country Village Lifestyle Estate

Back by popular demand, the 2nd Kids Like2Bike event took place at Century Property Developments Waterfall Country Lifestyle Village Estate, Kyalami, Northern Joburg.

The estate provided the ideal setting, with paved paths and walkways weaving around the dam and green belt areas. There was a short 2km loop for the prams and balance bikes, and 5 or 9km distances for the older kids. Both the 5 and 9km included some offroad terrain, although not rocky or too technical.

Even though it had to have been the coldest day of the year, 200 kids still took to the route with parents in tow to try and warm up. 32G.I were at the event to hand out 'ready-to-drink' product to the 'little athletes in the making' as well as the parents who also deserved a medal for trying to keep up on foot.

Afterwards the littlies were entertained by the face painters and balloon artists, before collapsing in the car on the way home.
